Heard these brain teasers on the radio the other week and seen as I love a bit of football trivia thought I'd share em with you all:

1. Can you name the 3 teams in the English Football Leagues whose full team name starts and ends with the same letter?

2. Who is the only player to have played in the Manchester, Merseyside and Old Firm derbies?

3. Can you name the 3 teams currently in the Championship who since its inception have finished in the top 4 of the Premier League?

Answers on a postcard and happy quizzing, oh and no cheating I know what you lot are like :D

Well done Bigshow, and Lovejoy (for copying his answers :biggrinodf:)! Andrei Kanchelskis is the player whose played in the derbies and Bigshow got the 4 teams whose name starts and ends with the same letter even though I only thought it was 3!

As for the 3 teams who have finishes the top 4 all 3 of you got Leeds and Hayden got Forest but there's one more left if anyone isn't bored already.

The biggest clue I can give is that they famously beat Bayern Munich during their European campaign

I obviously thought this was harder than it was :D

I'd say the 3rd team's Norwich then. I remember when Chris Sutton played for them he banged in a few so they could've been up there.

Oh, no no no no..... lol...

Wimbledon FCs owners got permission to leave Wimbledon (where they didnt play) and go to Milton Keynes and change the name (all against league rules)
The fans were in uproar and started their own club AFC Wimbledon and after about 5 or 6 years got promoted all the way into the football league

Well I never knew that. Carlton Athletic from Glasgow, (a team that you can only join if you are a recovering heroin addict) must be dong really well now if they got into the English league. Rangers and celtic (only half of whose players are junkie bastards) have been trying to get in there for years.
