    Photos on the forum

    Hi all,

We have quite a lot of threads on the forum which people put photos onto and they look great but the forum photo uploader sadly isn't the greatest and you end up with a little image that isn't so easy for people to browse.

For the new members or anyone else wondering how people get images to come up big in their posts check out this link http://www.thedartsforum.co.uk/showt...tobucket+guide. It's easy to sign up and easy to do and then you too can have full size images in your posts.

    Good luck.

http://imgur.com/ is also very good as well. Easy thumbnail creation and linking.

Am I the only one who likes the thumbnails? I quite like having the choice to enlarge an image or not. Sometimes it can be mildly irritating having to look at a massive photo that I have previously viewed when opening a thread that I have already read.

Thank you for illustrating my point. Here is the flip side. Look at it fullsize if you choose

with the thumbnail, you have to click on it to see what it looks like, with the big image, you can keep on scrolling down the screen if you dont like what you see.

Click on the 'Insert Image. icon ( Next to the film strip icon) you can then upload an image from your computer

It used to bug me going back a fair few years when the internet was a lot slower. That was because the photo's would take ages to load though, not a sizing issue.

There was nothing worse than when you were trying to few old old thread that had a lot of images in it and it would keep popping up and down as the images finally downloaded. Not a problem any more and you can just whizz past them. I guess the size thing might be an annoyance if you are on a smaller resolution screen though?
