    Help Dart angles!

Right i like my darts to land flight pointing up to the ceiling when they go in board 45 degrees ish?

I always used to make this happen but now it doesnt work and they are landing flat and i hate it and cant get out of the habbit of doing it. I have tried every stem & flight combo i can think of and nothing changes i have tried throwing darts different but nothing is helping?

    any ideas people?

    shorter stems
    smaller flights
grip more towards the back of the darts (behind the focal point)
    poly instead of nylon flights
    no flight protectors
point of the darts horizontal or upwards while releasing

all this brings a bigger angle (flight pointing up)

Are you still hitting what you want, and playing well? If so don't let it bother you.

    Ayup Don

I like my darts to land flight up to.
The only thing I can think of is, your releasing your darts a little bit later than normal.
Thus darts having a flatter trajectory.

If I hold the dart further back the flight sticks up in the air when it enters the board and I cant stand this because I want my dart to land flat so I hold my dart near the center more.

I havent got much for you if you've tried everything else
    Shorter stems/ shorter barrels etc

Some folk actually like their darts landing flat, (less bounce outs)
Cant stand it myself either, I like to lob my darts over the other darts

why don't you want to have them land flat? people kill themselves to get them to do that? look at Phil Taylor and Justin Pipe. You can stack them one on top of another. If your darts land flat you shoot around them and they hardly ever block. I hate when mine land with even more than a little angle. Mr. Taylor's even land with them hanging down.

By the looks of it this is the key statement, have you tried going back to your old darts and see how they land, maybe straight barrels are not right for you.
I have too many sets of darts and need to work out which ones to play with, I think I have a problem as I also have another set on order
