    158.04 for a 1001 dart leg. (19 darter, including 3 x 180's).

On November 11, 1975 at the Broomfield WMC in Devon, England, international star Cliff Inglis tossed a magnificent 19-dart 1001 game, smashing all previous records to date: 160-180-140-180-121-180-40. Cliff averaged an unbelievable 52.68 points per dart despite getting lucky with his first dart, hitting a double 20 instead of the triple.

Kong has a recorded score of 128.15 (it states this is one of the highest of all time).

Andersons was also a week after his brother passed away. Phenomenal under the circumstances!

Not taking anything away from Greens but was that not only over 3 legs or something? If that is the case it would be broke in most PDC matches

Alan Glazier apparently hit a perfect 17 dart 1001 game in 1976 but the score wasn't recognised as it wasn't an official match. I remember seeing something about this before and couldn't remember where - checked out the Dr Darts newsletters and it's in issue 15 (pages 8 and 9). He also mentions the Cliff Inglis game in the same article.

As far as i am aware, Anderson hit the highest 3 dart average ever recorded for a 501 non televised ranking event in that match v Monk which was actually 133+ and included 4 legs of just 11 darts.

As i posted above, Anderson holds that record as far as i'm aware for non televised and Taylor for on TV. Any average hit in practice does not count even if it is on the premises before playing a big match. It has to be a ranking event to count as an official record. No stipulation on legs as far as i know but obviously a big average over 7 legs is a better achievement than one hit over 3. Plenty of players have hit massive averages in practice/exhibition. As you say in pre match venue practice, Merv has hit back to back 9 darters, Stompe hit a double in and out 9 darter and once hit three 9 darters before going on stage, Ando hit five 9 darters before a PL match this year and had hit forty one with his new darts prior to this years World Grand Prix. There are numerous similar escapades of top tungsten.
